TPC or “The Premier Center” respects the privacy needs of our customers. To earn your trust, we handle your Personal Information with the utmost respect. This Privacy Statement describes the Personal Information that we gather about you and the safeguards we have in place to protect it and what control you have over our use of it. By using our TPC Site, the user agrees, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this Privacy Statement.
When you provide Personal Information on our TPC Site, you are consenting to the manner in which TPC will collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your Personal Information, as set forth below.
Using the TPC Site. Our TPC Site is not intended to attract users under the age of 18. We do not collect Personal Information from a person we know to be under the age of 18. If you are under 18, we ask that you not send us your Personal Information.
Our TPC Site is intended for users from the United States and those not governed by privacy policies of other countries. Users from the European Union are advised not to disclose their Personal Information to TPC. Please do not send us information unless you consent to the application of U.S law and to the use and disclosure of your information consistent with this Privacy Statement.
Collecting Personal Information We may collect Personal Information that you provide us when you do the following:
Purchase, order, return, or request certain information about our products;
Contact our customer service representatives;
Visit or register with our Site or participate in a feature of our Site; or
Provide us with comments on our Site.
We may also collect Personal Information about you from our service providers who provide us with e-commerce related services related to our Site.
Calling TPC. When you call our TPC office about a product, delivery, billing question or for customer service, you may be asked for Personal Information that identifies you along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question. We may retain this information to assist you in the future.
TPC Site Registration. You do not have to register to browse our TPC Site, but you do have to register to purchase products on our Site. When you register, you are asked to provide information such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and you will be given a password. Your registration information may be used by us to help make your online shopping smoother and easier. When you register online with us, it also gives you the opportunity to receive future marketing information and offers from TPC.
Asking a Question. When you ask a question through our TPC Site, we may collect your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information in order to be able to respond to you; we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information and offers.
Promotional Information. We would like to inform you about our products and special offers that might benefit you. When you register online, we may use your information to e-mail you about our products and special offers.
We may also send you mail or call you with information about our products and specials if you have provided us with your name and address, email address or phone number. Access to Personal Information by Companies that Work with or on Behalf of TPC. Some of TPC’s operations, such as our electronic commerce, may be managed by service providers who are unaffiliated with TPC. These companies may share Personal Information with their affiliates and with service providers whom they engage to perform services related to our Site or TPC’s business. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorization, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, order fulfillment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution. These companies may have access to your Personal Information on a confidential basis but only to the extent that is necessary for them to perform their functions. If your purchases are being shipped to you, your shipping information will be shared with our delivery service providers (such as UPS, the U.S. Postal Service or other delivery companies). Sale of Business. In the unusual event that TPC is sold or transferred or used as security, your Personal Information may be transferred to third parties as part of that transaction.
Disclosures of Personal Information in Legal Proceedings. If TPC or any of our service providers is requested by a law enforcement official to provide Personal Information about individual users, TPC or the applicable service provider may, without your consent, provide such requested information. In matters involving personal or public safety, TPC or the applicable service provider may provide your Personal Information to appropriate authorities without your consent or court process. TPC or our service providers also will provide your Personal Information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or in litigation involving TPC, the applicable service provider, or otherwise as required by law. We may also disclose Personal Information to assist in debt collection if you owe a debt to us.
Access to Personal Information. If you are a registered user with our Site, you can access your profile information at any time by clicking on the “My Account” link.
Privacy Preferences / Opt-Out. Information Sharing Disclosure Requests. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request one Notice of Information-Sharing Disclosure per year which will identify the third parties with whom TPC has shared the Personal Information we have collected from you. You may request the Notice of Information-Sharing Disclosure by writing to us at TPC, The Premier Center, 1416 6th St, Santa Monica, CA Attn: Privacy Manager or by e-mailing us at email@example.com We will respond to your request for a Notice of Information-Sharing Disclosure within 30 days.
Visiting Our Site. In general, you may visit our Site without telling us who you are and without providing us with any of your information. However, we may collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of visitors to our Site and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our Site. We may use this information to monitor and improve our Site.
Our Site may also use a technology called “tracer tags”, also be referred to as “Clear GIFs” or “Web Beacons”. This technology allows us to collect and evaluate which pages you visit on our Site so that we can optimize and tailor our Site for you and other future website visitors.
Security of your Personal Information. TPC maintains administrative and technical safeguards to protect against the unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of Personal Information that is in our control. We are committed to using reasonable technology in order to protect the security of our Site. However, even with the best technology, any website may not be 100% secure. Secure Shopping at TPC. When you place your order on our Site, your order information, including your credit card number and delivery address, is transmitted through the Internet using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology allows your browser to encrypt your order information before transmitting it to our secure server. SSL technology, an industry standard, is designed to prevent others from capturing your Personal Information. Since any order information you provide to us on our Site will be transmitted using a secure connection, if your web browser is unable to support this level of security, you may be unable to order products through our Site. Netscape Navigator™ and Microsoft Internet Explorer® both support a secure connection and either can be downloaded for free from the Netscape and Microsoft website respectively.
Passwords. To provide you with an increased level of security, online access to your Personal Information is protected with a password. We recommend that you do not disclose your password to others. TPC will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited communication such as an unsolicited letter, phone call or e-mail.
Privacy Statement Modifications. From time to time, we reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Statement in order to comply with new laws or regulations or to reflect changes in our business practices.
